The Housekeeping team member at Oakridge Gardens is responsible for a variety of duties, such as:

- Thoroughly clean resident rooms

- Wipe down bed frames

- Assist with bed making and changing of linens

- Vacuum floors

- Dust, sweep, and mop floors throughout building and resident rooms/bathrooms

- Gather garbage from resident rooms

- Replenish supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

- Ensure total customer service with patient and resident interactions

This is a lead kitchen role and the cook is responsible for all areas of the kitchen and sanitation when Manager is not present. General Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Prep and maintain modified food menus
• Follow and help develop and implement standard recipes
• Follow and help develop and implement daily preparation list
• Help maintain and monitor inventory
• Cook all menu items to order
• Help develop and create menus and specials
• Monitor food and cooler temperatures and record all temperatures regularly
• General kitchen cleaning (dishes, garbage, sanitizing)

Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma. Experience: not necessary but would prefer prior experience in food and/or healthcare. Willing to train the right candidate. LPN roles at Oakridge: The Licensed Practical Nurse is a staff nurse who will function in two different capacities, depending on staffing needs: One function is lead LPN and the other function is floor LPN. The lead LPN for the day (which is a rotating role) will provide leadership and nursing oversight to the clinical staff providing direct patient care. This LPN will create assignments, pass medications, provide treatments, complete necessary documentation and assure documentation is completed by the direct patient care staff. The lead LPN may delegate to other LPNs and CNAs and assist the RN as needed. The floor LPN will provide direct primary patient care and assist other clinical floor staff as needed. The floor LPN may also delegate and supervise the care provided by other floor staff including LPNs and CNAs. The LPN can be delegated as charge nurse of any given floor to manage. The RN is to round on residents throughout the day and as necessary for the purpose of assuring the needs of the residents are met. The secondary function is to provide or assist with direct nursing care to residents as needed, along with delegating and supervising the care provided by the LPNs and CNAs. The RN is in charge of the nursing team and provides leadership and structure to the day-to-day operations.
